Selling
You need to be a retailer, showroom, designer, wholesaler or dealer to sell on Second Showroom. We do not accept private party ads at this time.
To sell, simply register. Once you receive a log in and password, log in and click on “submit ad” to submit your items. Your ad will automatically expires in 30 days unless specified otherwise. Be sure to go back and delete your listing once your item is sold.
A few helpful tips:
1) Use a good, short name for your product that is also descriptive. This is the first line that the consumers will see and it is also the same info that the search engine indexes. Be sure to use a good description that most people would generally look for. Don’t use trade verbage that most people do not understand.
For example, a good description would be “Sofa by Kravet in Beige”, or “Leather King Sized Bed”.
2) Be sure to include all relevant information including pricing, description, dimensions, or shipping/tax information.
3) Update and add your listing frequently. Our customers check the site frequently and like to see new items added.
4) Describe your company clearly. Use a business email address instead of a free email account such as Gmail or Yahoo. This gives you credibility.
5)Make sure you list all your contact information so that people can contact you easily. This includes telephone number, email address and business hours, if applicable.
